Chhendipada: NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a premier state-owned public sector undertaking in the energy sector, has inaugurated a Mobile Medical Dispensary Van to provide essential healthcare services to project-affected villages of Machhakata and New Patrapara South Open Cast Project (OCP). This initiative aims to strengthen healthcare access in remote regions and promote overall community welfare.
Inauguration Ceremony
The dispensary van was formally launched on November 25, 2025, at the Community Health Centre, Chhendipada. The event was graced by Hon’ble MLA Shri Agasthi Behera and attended by NLCIL officials, including the ED/Coal Coordination and Project Head, as well as key local administration leaders such as the Tahsildar, BDO, Medical Officer, Village Sarpanchs, and representatives from the local communities.

The Mobile Medical Dispensary Van is staffed with a qualified medical practitioner and paramedical personnel to deliver primary healthcare services directly to the villages. By taking healthcare to the doorsteps of residents, NLCIL ensures that project-affected communities receive timely and accessible medical support.
