NTPC Limited Bongaigaon Wins Regional Professional Circle Award for ‘SAHAYOGEE’ Digital Innovation

Bongaigaon: NTPC Bongaigaon has earned the Regional Professional Circle (PC) Award for its innovative digital initiative titled “SAHAYOGEE – Synchronising the Site Digitally.” The recognition highlights the station’s commitment to digital transformation and operational excellence.

The award was presented by Mr. Arindam Sinha, Regional Executive Director (ER-II & SR), NTPC Limited, in the presence of senior officials from ER-II.

Driving Digital Integration at Site Level

The award-winning project was presented by Mr. Uddipan Pal, Senior Manager (TMD), and Mr. Satyam Boral, Assistant Manager (BMD). Their concept focuses on strengthening digital integration, transparency, and accountability in site operations through a user-friendly mobile application.

Key Features of the SAHAYOGEE Initiative

The SAHAYOGEE platform aims to digitise critical site-level activities, including:

  • Material tracking and equipment history
  • Safety case documentation
  • Monitoring of non-moving inventory
  • Inter-departmental material movement
  • Vehicle requisition management
  • Consumable usage tracking

By digitising these processes, the initiative enhances efficiency, transparency, real-time monitoring, and knowledge management at NTPC Bongaigaon.

Advancing to Corporate-Level Competition

Following this regional win, Mr. Uddipan Pal and Mr. Satyam Boral will now represent NTPC Bongaigaon at the Corporate Level Professional Circle Meet, where the project will compete at the organisation’s highest innovation platform.

The achievement reflects NTPC Bongaigaon’s ongoing focus on encouraging grassroots innovation and empowering employees to contribute solutions that strengthen operational systems and processes.

The Professional Circle (PC) is a structured initiative within NTPC that fosters innovation, collaborative problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across departments and power stations.
