NTPC Bongaigaon Marks ‘Walk for Unity & Integrity’ to Celebrate National Unity Day and Vigilance Awareness Week 2025

New Delhi: In observance of National Unity Day and as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, NTPC Bongaigaon organised a ‘Walk for Unity & Integrity’ to promote the values of national integration, transparency, and ethical conduct among employees and their families.

Leaders and Employees Join Hands for Integrity and Unity

The event was led by Mr. Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, and saw enthusiastic participation from Mr. Anurag Gupta, General Manager (O&M); Mr. L. N. Meitei, Commandant, CISF Unit, NTPC Bongaigaon; senior officials, employees, CISF jawans, and their family members. The participants actively took part in the walk, showcasing solidarity and collective commitment to the ideals of unity and vigilance.

Pledge for Unity and Ethical Conduct

The programme began with a Pledge for Unity, where participants reaffirmed their dedication to uphold the principles of integrity, transparency, and ethical responsibility in both personal and professional spheres. The pledge served as a reminder of NTPC’s core values of honesty, accountability, and unity of purpose.

Tree Plantation for a Greener Tomorrow

The walk concluded with a Tree Plantation ceremony held near the temple premises within the township. The initiative symbolised NTPC’s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable community development, reinforcing its vision of integrating ecological responsibility into all corporate actions.

Fostering a Culture of Vigilance and Responsibility

Addressing the participants, Mr. Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, emphasised the importance of nurturing a culture grounded in vigilance, unity, and ethical practices. He highlighted that these values form the foundation of NTPC’s long-term growth, credibility, and organisational success.

Week-Long Vigilance Awareness Activities

The Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 at NTPC Bongaigaon is being observed with a series of awareness programmes, competitions, and community outreach initiatives under the central theme “Our Shared Responsibility.” The campaign aims to strengthen ethical conduct, promote accountability, and encourage collective participation in building a transparent work environment.
