New Delhi: Oil India Limited (OIL), India’s second-largest national upstream oil and gas company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the District Commissioner Office, Goalpara, Assam, for the supply and installation of a Laparoscopic Surgical System and Centre Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) Equipment at Martyr Nidhanu Ram Rajbongshi Civil Hospital, Goalpara.
The initiative, undertaken under the Transformation of Aspirational District Project (FY 2025–27), underscores OIL’s continued commitment to the ‘Health and Nutrition’ theme guided by the Ministry.
Oil India MoU Signed in Presence of District and OIL Officials
The MoU was signed by Shri Madhurjya Barua, Executive Director (HR & FA), Oil India Limited, and Shri Prodip Timung, ACS, District Commissioner, Goalpara, in the presence of officials from both OIL and the district administration.
Aligned with OIL’s CSR Vision
This collaboration is a part of OIL’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at improving healthcare accessibility and infrastructure in aspirational districts. The project is expected to significantly enhance the quality of healthcare services at the district hospital, benefiting thousands of residents in the region.
