Oil India’s Drilling-HSE Team Wins Top National Awards for Environment and Safety Excellence

New DelhiOil India Limited (OIL) has added another feather to its cap with its Drilling-HSE section under the Drilling Services Department receiving the “Most Admired – Top Honour” at the 24th Annual Greentech Environment & Sustainability Awards 2025. The recognition underscores OIL’s unwavering commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) excellence in its core operations.

The prestigious award was presented by a distinguished panel including Shri Jagdish Mukhi, Former Governor of Assam, Dr Bhaskar Chatterjee (IAS Retd), Former Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, and Shri Kamleshwar Sharan, Chairman and CEO, Greentech Foundation.

Double Recognition for Outstanding HSE Practices

Alongside the top Greentech award, the Drilling-HSE division also secured the Silver Award for Environmental Excellence in the Green Enviro Environment Award & Summit 2025. This award was conferred by Shri Suresh Prabhu, former Union Minister of multiple key portfolios, and Shri Pasha Patel, former member of Maharashtra’s Legislative Council.

These back-to-back honours spotlight OIL’s sustained focus on embedding safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship across all drilling operations.
