New Delhi: State-owned energy major Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has awarded a ₹125 crore contract to Corporate Infotech Pvt Ltd (CIPL) for upgrading and managing its IT infrastructure using advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
The large-scale project will cover 47 locations across India and is set to be executed over a three-year period, marking a significant step toward digital transformation within the Maharatna PSU.
AI-Powered Digital Transformation Across 47 Locations
Under the agreement, CIPL will deploy AI-driven systems to modernize ONGC’s IT infrastructure and streamline digital operations. The project includes:
- Comprehensive IT infrastructure maintenance
- Advanced digitalisation initiatives
- A complete cybersecurity overhaul
- Deployment of AI-based monitoring and automation systems
This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and resilience of ONGC’s mission-critical IT systems across its nationwide operations.
