New Delhi: In a major boost to India’s offshore energy infrastructure, APM Terminals Pipavav (Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd – GPPL) has signed a five-year agreement with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to develop a state-of-the-art offshore oil and gas logistics base at the Pipavav Port in Gujarat.
Strategic Move to Support India’s Energy Security
The long-term pact marks a significant step in strengthening India’s offshore logistics capabilities and energy security. Under this partnership, APM Terminals Pipavav will act as ONGC’s strategic supply base partner, supporting its offshore oil and gas operations in the Tapti and Kutch basins.
“This alliance reflects our commitment to supporting national development and maintaining high standards of operational excellence,” said Girish Aggarwal, Managing Director at APM Terminals Pipavav.
