About ONGC Mehsana Asset
The ONGC Mehsana Asset, located in Gujarat’s North Cambay Basin, is one of India’s largest onshore oil-producing fields, operates under Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC). Established in 1967, it encompasses over 28 oil and gas fields across approximately 6,000 km². The asset has drilled more than 2,300 wells and operates 35 production installations. Daily production includes 6,100 tonnes of crude oil and 500,000 cubic meters of natural gas. ONGC employs advanced techniques like polymer flooding to enhance recovery and has initiated solar energy projects to support operations.
