Mr. Padavittan Babu has been selected for the post of Director (Production & Marketing) at Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB). The selection was made during the board meeting held on July 1, 2025.

Mr. Babu is presently serving as General Manager (Technical Services) at MIDHANI and has been chosen from among 12 candidates who appeared for the interview. His appointment is now subject to clearance from vigilance authorities and final approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
Upon receiving the ACC’s nod, Mr. Babu will formally take charge as a board-level director in MIDHANI, a Defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence.
