Senior IAS officer Pawan Arora has bid adieu to his illustrious career in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and has taken voluntary retirement to shift his career. The former officer is set to debut in media as the CEO and Editor of First India News, a prominent news channel. Not only the news channel but he has also taken up the role of CEO and editor at First India newspaper. Let it be noted that Jagdeesh Chandra is the CMD and Editor-in-Chief of First India News and will continue to steer the channel’s editorial direction.
Mr. Arora was an IAS of 2007 batch and Rajasthan cadre. He has served as Commissioner, Rajasthan Housing Board. His appointment in First India has been welcomed by many. The director of First India, along with Virendra Choudhary, conveyed their heartfelt congratulations to Pawan Arora on his new role.
