New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has officially invited applications for the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power. The vacancy for this high-profile leadership role will arise on April 1, 2026, and the last date to apply is June 9, 2025.
As per the PESB advertisement dated May 13, 2025, the CMD will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the company and will be responsible for overall corporate governance, strategic leadership, and ensuring that the organisation’s objectives align with the vision of the Government of India and expectations of its Board of Directors.
