New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has invited applications for the post of Director (Production) at Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL), a Schedule ‘B’ Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. The role is based at BVFCL’s operations in Namrup, Assam.
Key Role in BVFCL’s Leadership
The Director (Production) will serve as a member of the Board of Directors and will report directly to the Chairman and Managing Director. The position involves supervising plant operations, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, and guiding the company on all production and operational matters.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Applicants must be engineering graduates with a strong academic record. Preference will be given to candidates holding an MBA or PGDM qualification. Candidates should also have senior-level operational experience, including at least five years in fertilizer, chemical, or petrochemical production units within the past decade.
Tenure, Pay Scale, and Application Process
The post carries a pay scale of ₹65,000–₹75,000 and will be held for a tenure of five years or until the age of superannuation, whichever comes earlier. Applications must be submitted by 15 September 2025, 3:00 PM, while forwarding of applications by nodal officers will remain open until 24 September 2025, 5:00 PM.
