New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has opened applications for the post of Director (Projects) in RITES Limited. The notice, issued on August 26, 2025, sets September 23, 2025, as the last date for submission of applications.

Vacancy Announcement for Leadership Role

The Director (Projects) position plays a pivotal role in steering RITES’ infrastructure and consultancy initiatives. Applications are invited from eligible candidates across both the public and private sectors through the official PESB portal. The appointment will provide strategic leadership in managing large-scale projects and guiding operational efficiency.

Background of the Vacancy

The post has been vacant since May 5, 2025, following the resignation of Arun Kumar Singh. Singh, who was appointed on September 23, 2022, was expected to serve until his superannuation in February 2027. However, he resigned on April 21, 2025, and the competent authority accepted his resignation effective May 5, 2025. Since then, Dr. Deepak Tripathi, Director (Technical), has been holding the additional charge of Director (Projects).
