PNB Signs MoU with Tamil Nadu Govt to Manage Salary Accounts and Offer Enhanced Benefits to State Employees

Chennai: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu to manage salary accounts of state government employees. The partnership marks a significant milestone in strengthening PNB’s presence in the southern market and expanding its government banking portfolio.

The MoU was formalised at the State Government Treasury Department in Chennai. It was signed by N. Venkatesh, IAS, Director of Treasuries and Accounts, and P. Mahendar, Zonal Head, Chennai, PNB, in the presence of senior officials from both the bank and the state government.

Exclusive Salary Benefits for Tamil Nadu Government Employees

Under the agreement, eligible Tamil Nadu state government employees will be enrolled in PNB’s Revamped Salary Schemes, designed to enhance financial security and provide a comprehensive banking experience.
