Gurugram: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has commenced the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 with a nationwide reaffirmation of its commitment to integrity, transparency and ethical governance.
The week-long observance, being held from 26 October to 1 November 2026, aims to strengthen awareness of ethical conduct, accountability and probity in public life and organisational operations.
POWERGRID CMD Administers Integrity Pledge at Corporate Centre
Vamsi Rama Mohan Burra, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of POWERGRID, administered the Integrity Pledge at the company’s Corporate Centre in Gurugram in the presence of Directors, the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) and senior officials. During the ceremony, messages from the Hon’ble President of India, the Hon’ble Vice-President of India, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) were read out.
The messages highlighted the importance of integrity, transparency, accountability and probity in public life, reinforcing the role of ethical conduct in strengthening public trust and good governance.

Employees Across India Participate in Vigilance Awareness Week 2026
