1989 batch IRS-IT officer Prabodh Seth and Ramesh Narain Prabat have been appointed as new members to the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT)
Mr. Seth is currently working as Principal Chief Commissioner (International Taxation), whereas R. N. Parbat is DG (Investigation), Lucknow. Mr. Seth and R. N. Parbat will be succeeding Sanjai Kumar Verma and Ravi Agrawal (IRS IT: 1988), respectively. It may be underlined that the position of vice chairman, Ravi Agrawal, fell vacant after he took over as chairman of CBDT.
