President Confirms 158 IAS Officers from 2020–2022 Batches, Cementing Administrative Roles Nationwide – Details Inside

New Delhi: The President of India has formally confirmed 158 officers into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from the 2020, 2021, and 2022 batches, officially endorsing their transition from probation to full-time cadre assignments. These newly confirmed officers will now take on crucial roles in governance and public administration across the country.

Batch and Cadre Details

• 2020 batch: 1 officer (AGMUT cadre)
• 2021 batch: 1 officer (West Bengal cadre)
• 2022 batch: 156 officers

The confirmed officers are now distributed across 28 cadres (states and union territories), including 14 in AGMUT, 13 in Uttar Pradesh, 12 each in Maharashtra and West Bengal, 11 in Rajasthan, and 10 in Tamil Nadu. Other cadres include Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Assam–Meghalaya, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and more, reflecting a diverse national deployment.
