Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has achieved a record turnover of approximately ₹23,000 crore for FY 2024-25 (provisional and unaudited), reflecting a 16% increase over the previous fiscal’s ₹19,820 crore. The company’s export revenue also surged by 14%, reaching USD 106 million from last year’s USD 92.98 million.
CMD Manoj Jain reiterated BEL’s focus on self-reliance through greater indigenisation, infrastructure expansion, and technological modernisation. He also stressed the importance of outsourcing to Indian industries, particularly MSMEs and start-ups, while outlining plans for global market expansion.
BEL secured new contracts worth ₹18,715 crore during the year, including key defence projects such as BMP II Upgrade, Ashwini Radar, Software Defined Radios, Data Link, Multi-Function Radars, and Anti-Drone Systems. Additionally, the company strengthened its non-defence portfolio with critical assignments.
As of April 1, 2025, BEL’s total order book stands at around ₹71,650 crore, including an export pipeline valued at USD 359 million. The company continues to reinforce its dominance in the strategic electronics domain.
