Indian Masterminds Stories

New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a renewable energy subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has announced the appointment of Beetal Financial & Computer Services Private Limited as its new Registrar and Share Transfer Agent (RTA). This move comes after the completion of the service period with the previous RTA, KFin Technologies Limited.

Transition Process and Regulatory Compliance

NGEL informed the stock exchanges that KFin Technologies will continue to provide RTA services until all electronic connections are fully transferred to Beetal Financial and confirmations are received from both major depositories in India—National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) and Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL).

The company also noted that a tripartite agreement will be executed between NGEL, KFin Technologies, and Beetal Financial as part of the seamless transition process. The effective date for the new RTA appointment will be communicated to the stock exchanges after all regulatory approvals are met.

This announcement has been made in line with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and follows the SEBI circular issued on November 11, 2024. Manish Kumar, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of NGEL, signed off on the disclosure, emphasizing the company’s commitment to regulatory adherence and smooth shareholder management.
