IRS officer Neelam Agrawal, from the 2008 batch, has been appointed as Director in the Department of Financial Services. This appointment, made under the Central Staffing Scheme, is outlined in an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT).
Ms. Agrawal’s tenure will extend for five years from assuming office or until further directives, whichever occurs earlier. She was recommended for this central deputation by the Department of Revenue. The order instructs her immediate release from current duties with directions to commence her new assignment in the Department of Financial Services.
