SJVN’s Q2 Net Profit Remained Stagnated At Rs. 439.9 Crores

PSU Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (SJVN) has reported a flat consolidated net profit of Rs. 439.90 crore for the September quarter, compared to Rs. 439.64 crore during the same period in 2023, according to an exchange filing by the company.

The company’s total income increased to Rs. 1,108.43 crore, up from Rs. 951.62 crore a year earlier. However, its expenses surged to Rs. 528.88 crore, compared to Rs. 398.22 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

SJVN is a public sector company based in Shimla, India, focused on the development, operation, and maintenance of hydroelectric power projects. Established in 1988, SJVN has expanded its portfolio to include solar and wind power generation, contributing significantly to India’s renewable energy capacity.
