Following a notification issued by the Department of Personnel, Government of Punjab, on February 24th, four IAS and PCS officers were transferred and posted. The names of the officers are as follows:
Ms. Amrita Singh (2014 batch IAS), incumbent as the Director of Higher Education, Additional Director in Employment Generation and Training, and Additional Secretary in Lokpal was mandated to assume office as the Additional Director in Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities.
Additional secretary in Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, Mr. Rahul Gupta (2016 batch IAS), was given additional charge as the Controller in the Printing and Stationary department.
The Additional Secretary in the Labour department, Ms. Sona Thind (2017 batch IAS), replaced officer Parminder Pal Singh as the Executive Director of BACKFINCO.
PCS officer Mr. Gopal Singh was appointed the Chief Minister’s field officer in Barnala.
