R.K. Nair, the former Executive Director of Corporate Communications at NTPC, was honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for his remarkable contributions to the field of Corporate Communications. The award was presented by G.R. Anil, Kerala’s Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, during the Tusker Entrepreneurship & Professional Leadership Awards ceremony, organized by the Indo Continental Trade & Entrepreneurship Promotion Council (ICTEP) in Trivandrum.
A trailblazer in India’s Public Relations and Corporate Communications industry, Nair is widely recognized for his pioneering efforts at NTPC. His innovative campaigns and strategic communication initiatives were instrumental in transforming NTPC’s public image, strengthening its reputation and visibility across the country. Nair’s work has earned him widespread admiration from colleagues and industry peers alike.
The event saw a distinguished gathering of industry leaders, including K.M. Prashanth, GM (Corporate Communications) at NTPC, K. Ravindran, Former GM (Corporate Communications) at NTPC and Director of ICTEP, and Vinay Kumar and U.S. Kutty from ICTEP. Key communications professionals from leading organizations such as BPCL, Ramky Foundation, ESAF Small Finance Bank, and Goa Shipyard were also present to celebrate excellence in the field.
