New Delhi: Navratna PSU RailTel Corporation of India has been awarded a work order worth Rs 18.06 crore from the Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCI).
The project involves the provision of seamless offshore internet connectivity for DCI vessels and the Integrated Coastal Command Centre (ICCC).
Project Scope and Timeline
The order mandates RailTel to deploy its advanced broadband services to ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity for the DCI fleet operating offshore. The project is set to be completed by January 18, 2026, enhancing communication and operational efficiency for Dredging Corporation’s maritime activities.
Market Update
Following the announcement, RailTel Corporation shares witnessed a slight dip, trading down by 1.16% at Rs 383.30 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). However, the stock has shown strong performance over the past month, gaining 8.55%.
