New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited, a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Railways, has been honoured with the Gold Award in the “Reinforcing Communication & Bridging the Digital Divide” category at the ET Government PSU Leadership & Excellence Awards 2025.
The recognition was conferred during the ET Government National PSU Summit 2025, which celebrates the outstanding contributions of India’s public sector enterprises in governance, innovation, and service delivery.
RailWire: Empowering Last-Mile Connectivity
RailTel received this prestigious accolade for its flagship broadband initiative RailWire, which has played a transformative role in providing affordable internet services to underserved and remote areas across India. Driving Inclusive Digital Growth
Commenting on the recognition, RailTel stated that the award reflects the organisation’s commitment to inclusive digital growth. “This honour is a testament to our continued efforts in making reliable internet services accessible to all corners of the country,” the PSU said in an official release.
