In a recent reshuffle within the Rajasthan Forest Service, significant appointments and transfers have been made to enhance the management and development of the state’s forestry and biodiversity projects. The Indian Forest Service officers who are impacted by the order are Anurag Bhardwaj, Shikha Mehra and Arindam Tomar. Mr. Bhardwaj and Ms. Mehra are of 1993 batch while Mr. Tomar is of 1989 batch.
Anurag Bhardwaj, who was previously awaiting a posting order (APO), has been appointed as the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Development, Jaipur. Additionally, he will serve as the Project Director for the Rajasthan Forestry and Biodiversity Project in Jaipur.
Shikha Mehra, formerly the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, F.C.A., Jaipur, and Nodal Officer, F.C.A., Jaipur, has been promoted and will now serve as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Administration) and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, F.C.A., Jaipur, continuing her role as Nodal Officer, F.C.A., Jaipur.
Arindam Tomar, previously the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Working Plan and Forest Settlement, Jaipur, has been transferred to the position of Chairman of the Rajasthan Biodiversity Board in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
These appointments are expected to bring fresh perspectives and continued dedication to the conservation and development of Rajasthan’s forest resources.
