Speaking at a public program held at Kalidas Academy campus in Ujjain on Friday, Dr. Yadav said that this sacred occasion is eagerly awaited by all siblings and carries immense emotional and cultural value.
Sisters’ Blessings Driving State’s Progress
In his address during the inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of development works worth Rs 109 crore, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed that it is through the blessings and support of sisters that Madhya Pradesh is writing a new chapter of development.
He emphasized the state’s efforts in religious tourism, noting that Ujjain is being actively prepared for the upcoming Simhastha festival and continues to receive numerous development projects.
PM Modi Cares for Soldiers and Farmers Alike
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the PM gives equal priority to the well-being of soldiers guarding the borders and farmers working in the fields. He highlighted the continuous efforts being made at the national level for their growth and welfare.
A Heartfelt Rakshabandhan Celebration
Before addressing the public, Dr. Yadav participated in a Kanya Pujan ceremony, where young girls were honored as a traditional symbol of blessings. He also had a Rakhi tied on his wrist by several sisters, including members of self-help groups present at the venue.

New Government Infrastructure for Ujjain
As part of the development announcements, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the newly constructed Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Office and staff housing complex, completed at a cost of Rs 9.99 crore.
Constructed by the M.P. Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation, the complex includes:
- Administrative building (1,327.76 sq. meters)
- Residences for:
- 1 Superintendent of Police
- 2 Deputy Superintendents of Police
- 8 NG Prof. staff
- 12 Constables
- Additional amenities such as parking, a driver room, and a guard room.
The project spans 3,126.02 sq. meters and was completed in 12 months. The new facility comprises two floors and is a key step toward strengthening economic crime investigation infrastructure in the region.
