REC Foundation Partners with Janaseva Trust to Launch PARAM Science, Innovation, History & Cultural Centre in Karnataka

₹32.04 crore project aims to promote education, science, art, and cultural awareness through exhibitions, workshops, and interactive learning programs

Bengaluru: REC Foundation, the CSR arm of REC Limited, has entered into a strategic partnership with Janaseva Trust to implement the project, ‘PARAM Science, Innovation, History & Cultural Centre, Karnataka’, aimed at promoting education, science, and cultural awareness across the state. The agreement was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signed at the Param Foundation in Bengaluru.

The MoA was signed by Mr. N. Thippeswamy, Managing Trustee of Janaseva Trust, and Mr. Pradeep Fellows, Executive Director (CSR) of REC Limited. The ceremony was attended by senior officials from both REC Foundation and Janaseva Trust, highlighting the collaborative commitment to advancing educational and cultural initiatives in Karnataka.

Project Objectives and Scope

The PARAM Centre aims to provide a dynamic platform for learning and engagement in the fields of science, innovation, history, art, and culture. The initiative will host exhibitions, workshops, and other interactive programs designed to inspire students, researchers, and the general public. By combining educational and cultural activities, the centre seeks to foster curiosity, creativity, and awareness among participants of all ages.

The total project cost is estimated at ₹32.04 crore, with Janaseva Trust responsible for implementing and managing the centre. The initiative is expected to have a far-reaching impact on promoting knowledge, cultural understanding, and educational development in the region.

This collaboration between REC Foundation and Janaseva Trust reflects a shared vision of strengthening educational infrastructure while preserving and promoting cultural heritage.
