Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday urged senior IAS officers to provide an honest assessment of the Congress government’s achievements and shortcomings so far, and to help chart a clear roadmap for the remainder of its tenure ahead of the Assembly elections.
Addressing officials during a review of the 99-day ‘Praja Palana–Pragati Pranalika’ programme, the Chief Minister said it was the duty of every officer to uphold the trust reposed by the people through transparent and effective governance.
Push to Ground ₹8 Lakh Crore Investment Commitments
Stating that Telangana has secured investment commitments worth nearly ₹8 lakh crore, Revanth Reddy directed department secretaries to ensure that the signed MoUs are translated into on-ground projects.
“Telangana’s development goals will be realised only if these investments materialise,” he said, calling for close monitoring and time-bound implementation.

Focus on ‘Future City’ Vision
The Chief Minister also stressed the need to prioritise the proposed ‘Future City’ project, saying it has the potential to significantly transform the state’s economic trajectory. He asked officials concerned to maintain sharp focus on planning and execution.
Department Infrastructure and Workforce Data
Revanth Reddy instructed secretaries to maintain updated data on outsourcing and contract employees across departments.
He further emphasised that government offices — from the mandal to the state level — should not operate from rented buildings. Instead, each department must have its own dedicated infrastructure, and proposals for such buildings should be incorporated in upcoming budget plans.
