New Delhi: RITES Ltd, a Railway Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has been declared the lowest bidder (L-1) for a crucial contract issued by the Gujarat Urban Development Company Limited (GUDC). The contract, valued at Rs 28.50 crore (excluding GST), involves third-party inspection services for Water Supply Scheme (WSS), Underground Drainage (UGD), and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects across urban local bodies in Gujarat.
Scope and Duration of Work
The contract scope includes inspection and quality assurance for urban infrastructure projects under the AMRUT 2.0 (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) and Shri JNNURM-Mission Mode Swachhata Yojana (SJMMSVY) schemes. The contract will be valid for 60 months starting from the issuance of the Letter of Award (LOA) or Notice to Proceed (NTP).
