The Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally J&K has reached Jammu City, receiving a warm welcome from Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Mr. Ramesh Kumar (IAS). This significant event, which began under the auspices of the Hon’ble Lt. Governor J&K, Manoj Sinha, on May 2, 2024, has been making notable progress in advancing road safety throughout the region.
The rally was attended by key officials from the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation, along with distinguished members of the law enforcement community. Among them were SSP Traffic City Jammu, Mr. Faisal Qureshi (JKPS), and DySP Traffic City, Ms. Farah. At Dogra Chowk Jammu, the rally featured an on-road activity where traffic rule violators received on-the-spot counseling, facilitated by Dr. Suhail, the Medical Superintendent of Ujala Cygnus Hospital Jammu.
Organized by the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation and backed by Raj Bhawan Srinagar, the Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally J&K has garnered support from multiple stakeholders. These include Traffic Police J&K, District Administration J&K, Srinagar Smart City, Northstar Motorsports, HRCC, Autowings Toyota Srinagar, Ujala Cygnus J&K, VMART Srinagar, and Morning Kashmir Newspaper.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Mr. Ramesh Kumar (IAS), highlighted the critical importance of such initiatives in saving lives. He praised the Hon’ble Lt. Governor J&K, Shri Manoj Sinha, for his leadership in this road safety campaign and commended the dedicated efforts of the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation and all involved parties.
