Dubai Office: A Strategic Global Gateway
Positioned in Dubai, a global business hub with strong logistical connectivity and a robust regulatory environment, the new SAIL office will serve as a launchpad for the company’s export activities and facilitate stronger linkages with key markets across the MENA region.
Dubai’s role as an international trade and investment gateway makes it an ideal location for SAIL to engage with overseas clients, monitor regional steel demand, and tap into emerging opportunities.
Supporting India’s 2030 Steel Vision
This strategic expansion aligns with India’s broader vision of becoming a global steel manufacturing powerhouse, with a national target of achieving 300 million tonnes of steel production by 2030. SAIL’s presence in Dubai complements this roadmap by promoting Indian steel on the world stage and contributing to the country’s export and economic growth objectives.
CMD SAIL: “A New Chapter in Our Global Journey”
Speaking on the occasion, SAIL CMD Mr. Amarendu Prakash emphasized the importance of international outreach in the company’s growth strategy. “The opening of our Dubai Representative Office marks a new chapter in SAIL’s global journey. It is a significant step towards fostering trade partnerships, improving export efficiency, and showcasing the strength of Indian steel to the world,” he said.
India-UAE Ties in Focus
The move also reinforces the growing India-UAE economic and trade partnership, particularly in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and manufacturing. As bilateral ties deepen, SAIL’s Dubai presence is expected to serve as a key conduit for collaborative ventures and expanded trade flows.
