The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of Mr. Satyabrata Sahu, a 1991-batch Odisha cadre IAS officer, for holding a post at the Centre at the Secretary Equivalent level.
Mr. Sahu is presently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Home Department in the Odisha Government. He also holds the additional charge of ACS in the Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department.
During his distinguished career, Mr. Sahu has previously served as the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) and Managing Director of the Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA), where he played a vital role in the state’s disaster preparedness and response.
Earlier, from 2013 to 2020, the senior IAS officer was on Central deputation, during which he held important roles in various departments of the Government of India.
