Senior IPS officer Susanta Kumar Nath from the Odisha cadre has been elevated to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP). Nath, a 1993-batch officer currently on central deputation, has been granted a proforma promotion to the DGP grade in the IPS Level-16 pay matrix.
The General Administration and Public Grievance Department issued an official notification regarding his promotion.
Along with Nath, two other senior IPS officers, Vinaytosh Mishra and RP Koche, both from the same 1993 batch, have also been promoted to the rank of DGP in Odisha.
The notification stated that Mishra and Koche have been elevated to the DGP grade in the Level-16 of the pay matrix, marking a significant advancement in their distinguished careers.
