Several IRS Officers In Grade of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax and Principal Director of Income Tax Were Reshuffled

These changes are part of a broader effort to strengthen leadership across critical tax units

The Centre has enacted a significant reshuffle, promoting, transferring, and assigning new postings to senior officers in the grade of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (PCIT) and Principal Director of Income Tax (PDIT). A total of 15 officers have been entrusted with additional charges. The list of officers includes:

  • Mr. Dharmendra Kumar Mishra – PCIT (AU) -2, Bengaluru
  • Ms. Leena Srivastava – CCIT (VU)-1, Nagpur
  • Mr. Manoj Pandey – PR. ADG (O&MS), CBDT, Delhi
  • Mr. Kumar Hrishikesh – PCIT (AU) 4, Delhi
  • Mr. Devender Singh – PCIT (AU)-1, Bhopal
  • Mr. Prem Chandra Maurya – PCIT, Gwalior
  • Mr. Raja Ram Sah – PCIT (AU) -10, Delhi
  • Mr. T Kipgen – PR. ADG (Expenditure Budget), CBDT

The following were given additional charge in the rank of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax/ Principal Director of Income Tax:

  • Ms. Bhuvnesh Kulshrestha – Additional charge as PCIT (AU) – 2, Ahmedabad
  • Ms. Swati Joshi – Additional charge as PCIT (AU)-1, Gandhinagar
  • Mr. Muzaffar Hussain – Additional charge as PCIT (VU)-1, Surat
  • Mr. Prem Chandra Maurya – Additional charge as PCIT-1, Bhopal
  • Mr. Devender Singh – Additional charge as PCIT (AU)-1, Bilaspur
  • Mr. Devender Singh – Additional charge as PCIT (RU)-1, Ujjain
  • Mr. Rakesh Garg – Additional charge as PCIT (AU) – 11, Mumbai
  • Mr. Devinder Kumar Gupta – Additional charge as PCIT (AU) – 12, Mumbai
  • Mr. Amol Sudhir Kamat – Additional charge as PCIT (VU)- 1, Mumbai
  • Mr. Ravi Shankar Srivastav – Additional charge as PCIT (VU)-2, Mumbai
