On June 20th, the government of Andhra Pradesh mandated the transfer of three senior IPS officers across the state. Mr. P V Sunil Kumar (1993-batch officer), the incumbent Director General of the Andhra Pradesh State Disasters Response and Fire Services, was asked to report to the General Administrative Department (GAD) and was succeeded by Dr. Shankha Brata Bagchi (1996-batch officer).
Mr. K V R N Reddy (1992-batch officer), the Director General of the state Anti-Corruption Bureau, was made Commissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase. Mr. Atul Singh (1995-batch officer), the incumbent ADG of APSP battalions, was given full additional charge of the post of DG-ACB.
Mr. Y Rishanth Reddy (2016-batch officer), the incumbent Superintendent of Police of the Counter Intelligence Cell, was relieved of the full additional charge as SP (Red Sanders) Task Force and asked to report to the DGP office.
