New Delhi: Shailender Aggarwal has been appointed as the Chief Internal Auditor of SJVN Ltd., a Mini Ratna public sector undertaking in the hydropower sector. The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors of the company, as per an official exchange filing.
Mr. Aggarwal is a seasoned finance professional with more than 33 years of experience in the public sector, including extensive exposure to financial operations, audit, and internal controls across corporate and project-level functions.
Rich Experience in Finance and Audit
A graduate in B.Com (Hons.) and an MBA in Finance, Mr. Aggarwal has served in multiple strategic and operational finance roles within the organization. His professional experience spans several areas such as:
- Investment management
- Financial concurrence for tenders
- Salary and establishment matters
- Trust fund management
- Coordination with statutory auditors
- Internal audit systems and compliance
His appointment is expected to further strengthen SJVN’s internal governance mechanisms and support the company’s financial accountability as it expands its operations across the power sector.
