An incumbent Additional Chief Secretary in the Tamil Nadu government, IAS J. Radhakrishnan recently warned the public about a fake Facebook profile operating in his name and urged them not to respond to scams or messages claiming to be from him.
As per reports, efforts are underway to shut down the fake account. The impersonator misused Officer Radhakrishnan’s name and photo, asking followers for money under the pretence of helping a personnel from the CRPF.
After noticing suspicious activity, Dr. Radhakrishnan (1992-batch IAS officer), issued a social media warning, urging people to stay cautious and avoid falling victim to such scams. He also stated that he plans to alert the police and take steps to remove the fake profile.
