Telangana: 19 IAS & 2 IPS Officers Transferred In A Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle, IAS R P Sisodia Made Special CS, Revenue

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Telangana has mandated the transfer and posting of as many as 19 IAS & 2 IPS officers across the state.

The IAS Transferees are:

  • Mr. G Anantha Ramu (1990 batch), last posted as the Special Chief Secretary in the BC Welfare Department, was transferred as the Special Chief Secretary of the Environment, Forests, Science and Technology Department, duly relieving Mr. Neerabh Kumar Prasad (1987 batch), the incumbent Chief Secretary, from his full additional charge.
  • Mr. Ram Prakash Sisodia (1991 batch), last posted as Director General in the AP Human Resources Development Institute (APHRDI), was made the Special Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department (Lands & DM, Registration and Stamps), duly relieving Mr. Ajay Jain (1991 batch) from his full additional charge.
  • Ms. G Jaya Lakshmi (1995 batch), last posted as the Principal Secretary in the Department of Women, Children, Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, was mandated to assume office as the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, relieving Mr. G Sai Prasad (1990 batch) from his full additional charge.
  • Mr. Kantilal Dande (1999 batch), last posted as the Principal Secretary in the Tribal Welfare Department, was made Principal Secretary in the Transport, Roads & Buildings Department, relieving Officer P S Pradyumna (2004 batch) from his full additional charge.
  • Mr. M Gerija Shankar (1999 batch), the incumbent Chief Commissioner of State Taxes, was relieved from the full additional charge of the post of Secretary to Government (CT), Finance Department.
  • Mr. S Suresh Kumar (2000 batch), last posted as the Commissioner of School Education, was made Secretary of the Infrastructure and Investment Department, duly relieving Dr. N Yuvaraj (2005 batch) from his full additional charge. He is also placed in a full additional charge of the post of Secretary of the GVWV&VSWS Department, duly relieving Mr. Ajay Jain (1991 batch) from his full additional charge. He shall continue to hold full additional charge of the post of Secretary (Political) in the General Administration Department until further orders.
  • Mr. Saurabh Gaur (2002 batch), last posted as Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, was given full additional charge as Secretary in ITE&C and RTGS, relieving Ms. Kona Sasidhar (2003 batch) from her full additional charge. The Mos shall also hold the full additional charge of the Secretary in the Department of Skills Development and Training until further orders.
  • The post held by Dr. N. Yuvaraj (2005 batch) as a Secretary in the Department of Industries & Commerce was re-designated as Secretary of Industries & Commerce and Food Processing. Mr. Chiranjiv Choudhary (1989-batch IFS officer) was relieved of the full additional charge as the Principal Secretary of Food Processing.
  • Mr. K. Harshavardhan (2005 batch), last posted as a Secretary to the Social Welfare Department, was transferred and posted as Secretary to the Minorities Welfare Department.
  • Mr. K Kanna Babu (2006 batch), last posted as Commissioner in the Department of Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, was posted as Secretary to the Social Welfare Department. The MoS is also placed in full additional charge of the post of Secretary to the government Tribal Welfare Department.
  • Mr. Vadarevu Vinay Chand (2008 batch), last posted as Secretary (FP) in the Finance Department, was made Secretary in the Department of Tourism and Culture, YAT & C Department.
  • Mr. Vivek Yadav (2008 batch) was made Secretary to the government (Youth Services and Sports), YAT & C Department.
  • Ms. A Surya Kumari (2008 batch), last posted as Commissioner in the Department of Fisheries, was transferred and posted as Secretary in the Department of Women, Children, Differently Abled & Senior Citizens.
  • Dr. C. Sridhar (2009 batch), last posted as Commissioner of Rehabilitation and Resettlement, was transferred and posted as the Director of Industries.
  • Mr. J Nivas (2010-batch) was made Additional Secretary in the Finance Department.
  • Mr. V Vijaya Rama Raju (2012 batch) was made Director of the Department of School Education.
  • Mr. Himanshu Shukla (2013 batch) was appointed Director of Information and Public Relations against the existing vacancy.
  • Mr. S Dilli Rao (2013 batch) was appointed Director of Agriculture, while Mr. Chevvuru Hari Kiran (2009 batch) was transferred.

The IPS transferees are:

  • Mr. Harish Kumar Gupta (1992 batch), last posted as Principal Secretary in the Home Department, was transferred and posted as Director General (Vigilance and Enforcement) & EO Principal Secretary in the General Administration (Vigilance & Enforcement) Department.
  • Mr. Kumar Vishwajeet (1994 batch) was made Principal Secretary in the Home Department.
