Retired IAS officer MG Gopal has been appointed as the Vigilance Commissioner for a period of three years. The official orders were issued on Tuesday by Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari. Mr. Gopal, who has held various key administrative positions during his career, took charge of his new role the same day.
The Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department has issued orders appointing retired IAS officer I Rani Kumudini as the State Election Commissioner.
