A team of 10 trainee IAS officers from the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, visited the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Friday to understand its operational systems and administrative procedures.
Insight into CET and Recruitment Procedures
During the visit, KEA Administrative Officer Islahuddin Gadyal provided a comprehensive briefing on the authority’s key functions. The officers learned about the end-to-end processes for conducting the Common Entrance Test (CET), managing counselling sessions for professional course admissions, and the procedures used for recruitment examinations.
Modern Security Measures Praised
The visiting officers lauded KEA’s adoption of advanced security protocols, including facial recognition technology and the immediate scanning of OMR sheets post-examination. These scanned sheets are promptly uploaded to the KEA website, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the examination process.
