Two 1992 Batch IAS officers Elevated to Appex Scale

Two senior IAS officers have been elevated to Apex Scale, corresponding to Level-17 in the pay matrix by Ministry of Home Affairs. The officers to receive this promotion are Bipul Pathak and Ashwani Kumar. Both the officers are of 1992 batch and AGMUT cadre.

Mr. Pathak has served as Principal Secretary to the Government, Science & Technology Department and Administrative Secretary, Social Welfare Department, and also as Principal Secretary to the Government, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.

Whereas, Ashwani Kumar has served as the special officer of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and as the principal secretary (home) in the Delhi government.
