Amaravati: In a bid to retain experienced leadership within the state’s administrative framework, the Andhra Pradesh government has reappointed two retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to ex-officio positions they previously held.
Hari Jawaharlal Assumes Charge at Raj Bhavan
Hari Jawaharlal, 2005-batch IAS (Retd), officially took charge as the Ex-Officio Secretary to the Governor in the Governor’s Secretariat at Andhra Pradesh Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. This move comes in pursuance of formal orders issued by the state government. Known for his effective administrative track record, Jawaharlal will support the Governor’s office in a key coordination and advisory capacity.
S. Satyanarayana Gets One-Year Extension in BC Welfare
S. Satyanarayana, a 2006-batch IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been granted a one-year extension and reinstated as Ex-Officio Secretary of the Backward Classes Welfare Department.
Satyanarayana has held several critical positions throughout his career, including:
- Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration
- Secretary to the Government in the BC Welfare Department
- Active contributor to the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program, where he promoted voter awareness initiatives across the state.
