Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government continued its sweeping administrative reshuffle with the transfer of 27 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) across the state. This move follows closely on the heels of another recent transfer of 25 DSPs just a day prior, underscoring the government’s commitment to refreshing its administrative machinery.
According to the latest government order released on Friday, the reshuffle includes the controversial transfer of Deepshikha Ahibaran Singh, who has previously faced a corruption conviction. She has been posted as the officer in charge of the 28th Battalion of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) in Etawah. Her inclusion in the transfer list has raised eyebrows within administrative circles.
Among the other notable transfers–
Amit Kumar Pandey has been shifted from Varanasi to take over responsibilities in Jalaun.
Devendra Singh-I, previously posted in Kanpur Dehat, has been assigned to Sultanpur district.
The complete transfer list is given below-

This reshuffle forms part of a broader strategy by the Yogi administration to streamline operations, increase accountability, and ensure the deployment of officers suited to the needs of specific regions. As the state continues to face complex challenges ranging from crime control to election preparedness, these transfers signal a recalibration of the administrative approach.
