Lucknow: In a bid to further strengthen the administrative machinery of the state, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has ordered the transfer of six senior IAS officers with immediate effect. The reshuffle includes key changes at the Divisional Commissioner, Chief Development Officer (CDO), and senior departmental levels, aimed at improving coordination and expediting development work.
According to official orders, the transferred officers have been directed to assume charge of their new postings without delay.
Nagendra Pratap Appointed Divisional Commissioner, Agra
Nagendra Pratap, who was serving as the Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), has now been appointed as the Divisional Commissioner of Agra. His appointment is seen as a key administrative move, considering Agra’s importance as a major tourism and development hub.
Manish Meena Takes Over as Additional CEO, YEIDA
Replacing Nagendra Pratap, Manish Meena, who was serving as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Mathura, has been appointed as the Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. YEIDA plays a crucial role in infrastructure development along the Yamuna Expressway corridor.
Prashant Nagar Gets Additional Charge in Firozabad
Prashant Nagar, currently posted as Chief Development Officer, Mau, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities. He has been given the charge of:
- Municipal Commissioner, Firozabad, and
- Vice Chairman, Firozabad–Shikohabad Development Authority
The move is expected to enhance administrative coordination in urban governance and development planning in the region.
Vivek Kumar Srivastava Appointed CDO, Mau
Vivek Kumar Srivastava, who was serving as Deputy Secretary in the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, has been transferred and appointed as the Chief Development Officer of Mau, filling the vacancy created by Prashant Nagar’s additional charge.
Dr. Pooja Gupta Named CDO, Mathura
Dr. Pooja Gupta, currently posted as Joint Magistrate, Ghaziabad, has been appointed as the Chief Development Officer of Mathura. Her posting is expected to strengthen development planning and implementation in the religious and tourism-centric district.
Ranveer Prasad Given Additional Charge of Food Commissioner
Ranveer Prasad, Principal Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, has been assigned additional charge as Commissioner, Food and Civil Supplies, Uttar Pradesh, alongside his existing responsibilities.
Objective Behind the Administrative Reshuffle
Officials said the transfers have been carried out with the objective of:
- Enhancing administrative efficiency
