In a major administrative reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh, 15 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been transferred before the Lok Sabha elections. The names of the officers are:
Mr. Rajneesh Dubey (1988 batch) became the new chairman of the revenue council. Mr. Rajesh Kumar Singh (1989 batch) was made Principal Secretary Prisons.
Mr. Babu Lal Meena (1991 batch) has been posted as the Principal Secretary Horticulture and Silk.
Mr. Ravindra Kumar (2011 batch) transferred as the Principal Secretary Livestock Dairy Development
Mr. Vimal Dubey (2008 batch) has been posted as Divisional Commissioner, Jhansi. Ms. Chitra V (2007 batch) was posted as Divisional Commissioner, Aligarh.
Mr. P Guru Prasad (1999 batch) has been made Principal Secretary Revenue.
Mr. Balkar Singh (2004 batch) was made the new Housing Commissioner.
Mr. Adarsh Singh (2007 batch) has been posted as the Excise Commissioner.
Mr. Ranveer Prasad (2000 batch) has become MD of Electricity Generation Corporation.
Mr. Rajashekhar (2004 batch) has become MD Drinking Water Mission Rural.
Charge of Horticulture Department has been removed from IAS officer Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh.
