UP: Retd. IAS Arun Vir Singh Gets His 6th Extension As CEO Of YEIDA & NIAL

Since the UP government intends to complete the Noida International Airport project ahead of its deadline, top bureaucrats are reluctant to make any changes in YEIDA's top level

On July 1st, the government of Uttar Pradesh granted a sixth tenure extension to retired IAS officer Mr. Arun Vir Singh (2005-batch IAS), allowing him to continue working as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and the Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) till December 2024.

This is the sixth extension Officer Singh has received since June 2019. Mr. Singh shall also occupy the CEO’s office in the NIAL, formed by the Uttar Pradesh government for monitoring and controlling the development of the airport project. Since the UP government intends to complete the Noida International Airport project ahead of its deadline, top bureaucrats are reluctant to make any changes in YEIDA’s top level.
