The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced two major updates for aspirants on September 4, 2025. While the results for the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination have been published, the admit card for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) has also been released.
UPSC CMS 2025 Results Announced
The UPSC has declared the CMS 2025 results for the exam conducted on July 20. Candidates can check their qualifying status by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in and logging in with their credentials.
The shortlisted candidates will now proceed to the interview and personality test stage. The Commission has clarified that requests for rescheduling of interview dates will not be entertained under any circumstances. However, the result of one candidate has been withheld due to an ongoing court case.
The CMS examination is held to recruit MBBS doctors for central government health services, including Indian Railways and various government hospitals. This year, the recruitment drive seeks to fill 707 vacancies under category 1 and 2 posts, further strengthening healthcare delivery across the country.

UPSC NDA-2 2025 Admit Card Released
Alongside the CMS results, the UPSC has released the admit card for the NDA & NA Examination (II) scheduled for September 13, 2025. Candidates can download the admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth at upsc.gov.in.
The written exam will be held in two sessions: Mathematics (10 am – 12:30 pm) and the General Ability Test (2 pm – 4:30 pm).

The NDA-2 recruitment this year offers opportunities across multiple services with gender-inclusive posts:
- Army – 208 (10 women posts)
- Navy – 42 (5 women posts)
- Air Force: Flying – 92 (2 women posts), Ground Duty (Technical) – 18 (2 women posts), Ground Duty (Non-Technical) – 10 (2 women posts)
- Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme) – 36 (4 women posts)
