UPSC Releases Admit Cards for CSE-2025 Prelims, Exam Scheduled For May 25 – Here’s How To Download

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on May 13 has released the admit cards for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025. Candidates appearing for the prestigious exam can now download their admit cards from the official UPSC website at https://upsc.gov.in/e-admit-cards.

UPSC CSE Exam will be conducted on May 25, 2025 across the country. Candidates are required to download UPSC Admit Card without wasting any time, as it will be troublesome to wait for last moment. Candidates should also take the print out of the instructions as they will be required at the exam centre.

Steps to Download UPSC CSE 2025 Admit Card:

  • Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
  • Click on the Admit Card link available on the homepage.
  • Log in using your registration number and date of birth.
  • Once logged in, your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download the admit card and take a printout for future reference.

Candidates are advised to check all details mentioned on the admit card carefully, including their name, roll number, exam center, and reporting time. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination center.

Some Important Instructions are as follows

1) entry into the Examination Venue shall be closed 30 minutes before the schedule commencement of the Examination i.e. 09:00 AM for the Forenoon Session and 02:00 PM for the Afternoon Session. No candidate shall be allowed the entry into the Examination Venue after closure of the entry.

2)Candidates should Bring the print out of e-Admit Card along with the original Photo Identity Card, as mentioned in the e-Admit Card, in each session to secure admission to Examination Hall. E-Admit Card must be preserved till the declaration of the final results of the Civil Services Examination, 2025.

3)Candidate should not be in possession of or using any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc., or camera or Bluetooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future Examinations.

4)Candidates are not allowed to enter the examination premises with any bag, baggage, luggage, valuables/costly items, mobile phones, smart/digital watches, other IT gadgets, books, etc. Candidates are advised not to bring banned items as Venue Supervisor will not make any arrangement for keeping these items at the Venue. In case, a candidate brings any such banned items, he/she will make his/her own arrangement for keeping the same outside the Venue and the Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.

5)Candidates will be allowed to take with them only the print of e-Admit Card, pen, pencil, identity proof, copies of self-photographs (whichever applicable) and any other items as specified in the Instructions of e-Admit Card to the Venue. No other items shall be allowed to be taken inside the Venue.

6)Answers other than those marked by Black Ball Point Pen will not be evaluated.

It is important hence, for the candidates to keep note of these instructions before going to the exam centres. As UPSC is a exam for which candidates toil hard for throughout the year, its important not to panic and remain calm on the day of exam.
