Lucknow/Prayagraj: In a significant development, the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced an additional round of document verification and personal hearing for selected instructor candidates.
This step comes after complaints were received regarding the educational credentials of some candidates in the recruitment drive for instructor posts.
Background: UPSSSC Instructor Recruitment and Complaints
The UPSSSC had earlier conducted a selection process to fill 855 instructor vacancies across 42 trades. The final results were declared on May 6, with 717 candidates successfully selected.

Following the announcement, complaints were raised against 18 candidates, prompting the commission to take extra caution to ensure the integrity of the recruitment process.
Candidates Asked to Appear for Verification on October 31
The 18 candidates in question have been instructed to report to the Commission’s office at Pickup Bhawan on October 31 for the physical verification of their educational certificates. A personal hearing will also be conducted during this session.
Roll Numbers Published Online
To maintain transparency, the UPSSSC has uploaded the roll numbers of these candidates on its official website. This move reinforces the commission’s commitment to fair recruitment practices and to appointing only those candidates who meet all eligibility criteria.
